Getting Healthy and Staying Healthy

With all the New Year resolutions beginning here are a few tips for a healthy lifestyle

  • Set realistic goals
  • Use the buddy system
    • It’s harder to convince two people out of a workout than just yourself
  • Take it one day at a time
  • Get inspired- stay inspired
    • This might mean a new phone background
  • Be patient- good things take time
  • Make time
    • Even if it’s a 15 minute walk
  • Water, water, water
  • One bad meal does not make you fat, just like one good meal won’t make you lean!
    • Keep consistent with healthy meals and portions
  • 90/10 – 90% of the time eat healthy, 10% of the time indulge
  • Most importantly, Have fun- enjoy your workout & meals
